BREAK THROUGH THE OBSTACLES BY CELEBRATING THE WINS

As a mom, it can feel like every day brings a new challenge—whether it’s dealing with leaky bladders, persistent pain, or trying to find time to focus on your health. But when you celebrate the little wins along the way, your journey becomes much more enjoyable.

I encourage my clients to celebrate the mini victories each day, no matter how small they may seem. It could be as simple as having a pain-free day, getting in a short walk with your kids, or remembering to do one stretch to help your core strength. You can even track these wins in a fun way! For example, I use a worksheet where you can mark off a little happy face for every day you feel good, eat well, or take steps toward strengthening your body.

Why is this so important? Charles Duhigg says it best:

"Small wins fuel transformative changes by leveraging tiny advantages into patterns that convince people that bigger achievements are within reach."

Each time you celebrate a small goal—like a day without leaks or a moment of pain relief—it helps you believe that the bigger victories are within your reach.

Obstacles Are Part of the Journey

You’ll face obstacles on this journey. It’s not always easy to find time for yourself, and the road to reclaiming your health can be full of bumps. But that’s okay. Even the smallest victories—like finding five minutes to stretch or taking a few deep breaths when you feel overwhelmed—matter. It’s about taking the time to find joy in the journey, not just the destination.

Think of it like this: every day you conquer an obstacle, you’re one step closer to your health goals. Your body might be working hard to heal, but every positive step—whether big or small—counts.

Each Little Step Is Important

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed when the big goals seem far away. If you’re struggling with pain or weak core muscles, it may feel impossible to get back to your pre-pregnancy strength. But don’t aim for perfection. Start with small, manageable goals. Maybe it’s holding a plank for 10 seconds, walking around the block with your kids, or practicing a deep-breathing exercise. These small wins will fuel your progress and build your strength over time.

As you continue to make progress, you'll feel stronger—not just physically, but mentally too. With each little win, you'll build confidence, believing more in yourself and your ability to overcome challenges.
